Barmek or Burmiak is a little Himalayan town in Kalimpong slopes. It is extremely near Echey gaon. Strong Waterway Teesta and entrancing perspective on Mt.Kanchenjunga both are apparent from here. It's found nearly of 4800 ft. from ocean level.

It is a little distant town close to West Bengal - Sikkim line popular for Cinchona ranch.
