Day 1 - PHUENTSHOLING – THIMPHU
Distance: Approx. 170 km | Drive Time: 5–6 Hours
Arrival at Phuentsholing, the gateway town between India and Bhutan. After completing immigration formalities, begin a scenic drive towards Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital city.
The journey passes through lush green valleys, winding mountain roads, waterfalls, and dense Himalayan forests. En route stops allow guests to enjoy panoramic viewpoints and experience Bhutan’s peaceful natural environment.
Evening Sightseeing & Experiences
- Visit Tashichho Dzong, an impressive fortress monastery that houses the throne room and government offices.
